The Wim Dekens Collection contains a large number of issues of Famous Monsters magazine.

Famous Monsters Of Filmland (February 1958 – March 1983) was an American film magazine for horror, fantasy and science fiction fans. It was created and edited by Forrest J. Ackerman.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The magazine’s covers were usually eye-catching close-ups of horror movie characters. Almost 50 covers were created by the amazing illustrator and painter Basil Gogos.
